Job summary Experienced ClinicalAdministratorFull TimeThornhills Medical Practice islooking to recruit an experienced Clinical Administrator to join our friendly team.
Main duties of the job The post holder will have clinical knowledge and understanding and clinical administration experience.
They will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of clinical data administrative duties to support the multi-disciplinary team.
Duties can include but are not limited to, read coding information into patients clinical records, extracting data from clinical correspondence and adding to patient clinical records, monitoring QoF targets and recall systems, running searches and audits, notes summarising.
The post holder must work as part of a team, have the ability to organise and prioritise their own workload on a day to day basis About us We are asupportive, forward thinking GP training practice with a happy, reliableworkforce providing care to approx.

Job description Job responsibilities Accurately input clinical data into patientrecordsMonitor Quality Outcomes Frames (QoF) /clinical audits and assist in achieving QoF targetsAssist with searches, recalls and auditsfor chronic disease management, sending recalls lettersEnsure cervical smear recalls are in placeAdministration of the Pathology Links/MailManager/Enhance services/ProjectsAnnual immunisation recallprogrammes/campaignsSummarise patient notesaccurately/efficiently/Administer the electronic GP2GP systemReview, extract data from clinicalcorrespondence and inputting the data and Read Codes into the patients medicalrecordEnter test / screening results / clinicalinformation onto the computer systemTranscribe handwritten clinical notes intothe computer systemEnsure that all relevant SafeguardingAdults/Child Protection information is entered into the computer system Person Specification Qualifications Essential Educated to GCSE level or equivalent Desirable GCSE Mathematics & English (C or above) NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care Experience Essential Experience of working with the general public Experience of administrative duties Experience of working in a health care setting Skills Essential Excellent communication skills (written and oral) Strong IT skills Clear, polite telephone manner Competent in the use of Office and Outlook Understanding of clinical coding Effective time management (Planning & Organising) Ability to work as a team member and autonomously Good interpersonal skills Problem solving & analytical skills Ability to follow policy and procedure Desirable EMIS / Systmone / Vision user skills Personal Qualities Essential Polite and confident Flexible and cooperative Motivated Forward thinker High levels of integrity and loyalty Sensitive and empathetic in distressing situations Ability to work under pressure Flexibility to work outside of core office hours
