Job Title: Client Services Assay Supervisor Location: Witham (Hybrid working onsite 4 days per week) Salary: Up to £40k per annum (DOE) + fantastic benefits including enhanced maternity/ paternity and life assurance What's in it for me?

Core benefits include: 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays + (the option to buy or sell 5 per year) Health Care Cash Plan Enhanced Maternity and Paternity leave Employee Assistance Programme Volunteering Programme About the Role We are looking for an experienced Client Services Assay Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for high quality service delivery by our Client Coordinators, with focus on operating within our strict HSE guidelines, quality expectations and to ensure that our revenues continue to grow in line with our future growth strategy.
This individual will also be involved in production of quotations, tenders and discount requests, and will oversee the quality of our client data to ensure our systems work efficiently and effectively This role is primarily office based with some requirements of travel needed to visit both clients and attend various events through the year.
Responsibilities will include: Daily Management of the Client Coordinators with focus on high quality service delivery Manage workload distribution equally across the team, maintaining appropriate staffing numbers and skill sets to ensure consistent service levels throughout the year Client Coordinators holiday management, appraisals, training, expense approvals etc.
Technical overview and main point of contact for Client Coordinators and Clients to assist in resolving complex queries Main point of contact for the laboratory staff to assist in resolving issues and problems as they arise Keep up to date with market intelligence and best practises Build strong links to both our Sales and Marketing teams Responsible for effective cash collection, including liaising with our Credit Control team regularly Attend client meetings and events as and when required Oversee data quality of our clients and their agreements to ensure regularly kept up to date Health & Safety liaison with the QHSE Manager Adherence of Company quality systems for the whole team Process improvement, and systems improvement as required Change champion Experience & Skills Required: Degree level candidate (or equivalent experience/qualification) People management experience essential (ILM qualified preferred).
Candidate is expected to develop a good working understanding of the industry and product/services we offer.
Experience in contract and commercial agreements essential Experience in either logistics coordination/Shipping ports industry or laboratory and testing protocols essential Ability to demonstrate building strong relationships either across department or with clients Ability to communicate to a high standard to ensure excellent quality of service Tenacious individual with high degree of resilience Good problem solver and conflict resolution skills essential Full driving license and valid passport required About Us At Bureau Veritas CSR is embedded in our DNA.
