As Client Director, you will proactively own strategic account vision, planning, and execution at GCxO level. By becoming a true partner at the top levels of their org charts, your key role is to identify opportunities for account retention and growth aligning Gartner services to drive business value for our clients by addressing their most critical technology challenges and introducing new services and products, along with setting and orchestrating strategy with both internal and external partners.

What you will do: Working at GCxO level, you will understand large/global client business strategy, drivers, goals and initiatives, and translate these into Gartner selling opportunities
Establishing and maintaining executive relationships with clients to become the trusted advisor in all their primary locations
Quota responsibility aligned to one specific multinational account
Mastery and consistent execution of Gartner's sales methodology, products, and services
Orchestration of remote sales associates owning local relationships on the client in different regions
Effectively positioning the team to accomplish goals by setting standards for account performance, providing guidance, delegating tasks and removing obstacles for the team.
Managing forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
Demonstrating strong business acumen through a deep understanding of your clients' business and critical priorities, while staying current with evolving market and industry trends.
What you will need: Progressive sales experience with proven success in consultative B2B sales within the IT products or services industry, working through varying levels of complexity with global enterprise scale clients
Ability to prospect and manage Global C-level and senior level relationships within large multi-national companies
Proficiency in global account planning and understanding of territory management, with knowledge of the full lifecycle of the sales process and extensive and relevant industry knowledge.
Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, insightful and strategic insight into their business
Proven ability to understand enterprise-wide issues and to structure innovative, integrated solutions that provide IT decision support to global companies
Comprehensive understanding of technology buying centres
Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills
