A varied new role has arisen, with our client, a well established CA Firm for a Bookkeeper with ideally minimum 3 year's experience gained from another UK Accountancy Practice Firm, to join their friendly successful Bookkeeping/Accounts team.

You will be responsible for providing all aspects of end-to-end bookkeeping to a diverse portfolio of clients.
This will include the preparation of VAT returns and CIS returns.
You will manage daily bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures and accounting principles.
With a focus on efficiency and accuracy, youll be instrumental in supporting the clients with their record-keeping and VAT/CIS compliance.
You will also play a key role in supporting the Client Manager by maintaining accurate bookkeeping & VAT records which will be used for the preparation of the year-end accounts.
Key Duties: Take responsibility for own portfolio to ensure all aspects of end-to-end processing of client bookkeeping is completed in preparation for VAT returns or management accounts Take responsibility for own portfolio to ensure all aspects of VAT returns are prepared, reviewed and submitted to HMRC within deadlines.
Take responsibility for own portfolio to ensure all aspects of CIS deduction returns, and CIS suffered are prepared for submission and /or submitted where required.
Maintain strong client relationships through direct client contact in a professional manner.
Keep up to date with key bookkeeping software.
Ideal Person: You will have proven experience as a Bookkeeper, with minimum c3 years experience from another UK Accountancy Practice Firm environment, proficiency in accounting software with use of Cloud packages eg Xero or Quickbooks essential, strong interpersonal, client and organisational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
