Job summary We are recruiting for a Clerical Radiology Department Assistant who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.This is a demanding but interesting role in a busy, friendly and hard working department.
You will be expected to be experienced in dealing with the public and have accurate keyboard and data input skills.
Some experience of office and/or reception work is required.

Main duties of the job Providing a welcoming, caring and efficient service.Greeting patients, checking ID, demographics and accuracy of hospital records.Booking on computer arrival of patients with appointments and walk-in patients - patients may have electronic or paper requests - in accordance with procedures for location.To communicate effectively and politely with patients, their families/ carers, hospital staff and outside agencies, in a professional and caring manner.To provide correct, accurate and factual information to patients by phone and in person, respecting patient dignity and observing equal opportunities at all times.
