Cleaner (Level 4)

Who You Are You possess a strong foundation in cleaning and laundry tasks, ideally with experience in a multicultural environment.
Familiarity with housekeeping practices and an understanding of health and safety legislation are essential.
You are knowledgeable in food preparation principles and committed to equal opportunities.
You are organized, adaptable, and physically capable of performing housekeeping and catering duties.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary.
A foundation certificate in food safety is required, along with a commitment to personal development and further training.
You must have an Enhanced DBS and be willing to work shifts from 10am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
What the Job Involves This role entails executing a variety of housekeeping tasks such as laundering bed linens, towels, and childrens clothing, as well as cleaning tasks like vacuuming and sanitation of internal surfaces, floors, toilets, and nappy changing areas.
Youll manage the procurement and organization of cleaning and laundry supplies, maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.
Assisting with meal preparation and service is also part of your duties, while upholding policies on equality and inclusion.
Attendance at planning and staff meetings is necessary, and you may work across different service Children's Centres and early years settings.
The role requires flexibility, including occasional evening or weekend work, and may involve other duties to support the successful operation of the setting.
