Description 4-7 pm, Monday through Friday 52 weeks per year Salary is pro rata To carry out cleaning duties to the required standard and specified work schedule as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor.
This will involve providing a cleaning service across all areas of the College which may include the cleaning of classrooms, kitchens, washroom and changing areas, public and communal walkways and spaces.
Key Responsibilities To carry out cleaning duties as follows: To undertake various cleaning tasks i.e.
general dusting of furniture, fixtures and fittings, brushing, polishing, mopping and washing areas.
To ensure that washrooms, changing rooms and toilets are cleaned to the required standard daily.
To provide appropriate cleaning of walls, floors and glass surfaces To use machinery provided to vacuum, shampoo carpets, spray clean and to report any faults identified to the Cleaning Supervisor.
To ensure that all refuse and recycling is collected daily and delivered to the waste compound in the car park.
To ensure that you have sufficient cleaning products and materials to carry out the job, and to inform the Cleaning Supervisor when you need replacements.
To carry out any other tasks that are reasonably expected in the course of your work.
