Job Title: Cleaner (College Scout) Location: University of Oxford Contract Type: Fixed-term until 31 October 2025 Working Hours: 30 hours per week, mornings (Monday to Friday) Rate of Pay: £12.49 per hour Job Description: Exeter College is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner (College Scout) to join our team.
This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our residential accommodation.
Key Responsibilities: Clean student bedrooms and communal areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, and corridors.
Ensure bins are emptied, floors are vacuumed, surfaces are dusted, and furniture is polished.
Maintain the required standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Requirements: Experience in housekeeping, preferably within a residential student environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and a professional manner.
Keen eye for detail and a commitment to high cleaning standards.
Training in COSHH and/or manual handling is advantageous.
NVQ Level 2 in Cleaning & Support Services (or equivalent) is a plus.
