Glenhurst Lodge is a 22 bedded modern care home for male service users, with well looked after grounds and large communal areas for our service users to enjoy.
About the role Cleanliness is a vital pillar in the wellbeing of our service users and site.
Without cleaners, some areas of this may fall short so this role is extremely important!
The purpose of this role is to ensure our service is clean, hygienic, and therefore safe for everyone.
Responsibilities Ensure all public rooms and bathrooms are checked/ cleaned daily Each residents room to be checked and cleaned at least once a week, or as directed Maintain cleaning records Complete weekly stock check of cleaning materials and equipment, ensuring they are also fit for purpose Key skills Happy to work on your own and to your own initiative Able to work within the companies policies and procedures Be responsible for personal health and safety at work Benefits Training and development opportunities Retail discounts including food shopping, clothes, electronics Travel discounts for holidays Energy bill savings Online courses virtual, live and interactive to upskill yourself Help the planet, plant trees, save turtles!
