Position: Classroom Support Worker Location: Lymington Job Type: Full-time/Part-time Salary: £76.92 - £95.68 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate About The Role: As a Classroom Support Worker , you'll work closely with students who require extensive assistance.
You will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students, ensuring that the classroom environment is conducive to learning and that all students receive the support they need to succeed.
Responsibilities of the Classroom Support Worker: Assist teachers in preparing lesson materials and classroom resources.
Provide individual and small group support to students, helping them engage with their learning activities and address any challenges they may face.
Support the management of student behaviour, fostering a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere.
Supervise students during breaks, lunchtimes and other non-instructional periods.
Assist with administrative tasks such as marking, record-keeping and organising classroom displays.
Work closely with students to ensure they are fully included in classroom activities and have access to the curriculum.
Support the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities, adapting materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
Classroom Support Worker Job Requirements: Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
A genuine enthusiasm for supporting the educational development of young learners.
The ability to remain patient and supportive in a dynamic and sometimes challenging environment.
Willingness to adapt to the varying needs of the classroom and school community.
Have an updated CV ( covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps ) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
