About The Role: As a Classroom Support Worker , you will be an integral part of the classroom team, supporting students in their learning and ensuring they are given the best opportunity to succeed.
Whether it's helping with lesson delivery, offering one-to-one support, or assisting with small group activities, your role will be key in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Classroom Support Worker: Provide in-class support to students, assisting with lesson activities and classroom management.
Offer additional support to students who need help with specific tasks or learning challenges.
Work alongside the class teacher to monitor student progress and contribute to lesson planning.
Support the social and emotional development of students, creating a safe and positive space for them to thrive.
Assist in organising and preparing teaching materials for classroom activities.
Foster an inclusive learning environment, helping all students feel valued and supported.
Requirements of the Classroom Support Worker: A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting students in their learning.
Experience in a similar role as a Classroom Support Worker is desirable but not essential.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
A passion for supporting children and young people in their educational development.
Ability to adapt to a range of learning needs and foster a positive classroom environment.
A commitment to helping students succeed academically and personally. To work with GSL Education you should: Have the right to work in the UK.
Have an up-to-date CV and two relevant references from within the last two years.
Have an Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
