Class Teacher - Canvey Island Full Time - Maternity Cover Salary - £130-£250 a day One of our lovely schools in Canvey island is looking for a confident teacher for maternity cover between Janurary and June 2025. Knowledge and Experience: QTS required School teaching experience or successful completion of a training placement Awareness of English and maths initiatives.
A clear understanding of how young children learn and the ability to plan for effective and high-quality learning experiences.
The ability to comply with policies and procedures related to child protection and health and safety.
Currently knowledge of the curriculum.
To have experience of working with children with SEND and the ability to ensure every child makes good progress.
Manages behaviour effectively using a range of strategies, and with a clear understanding of the developmental needs of young children.
An understanding of the principles and practices of observation, assessment and planning.
