Job Title: Class 2 Shunter Location: Andover Salary: £14.37 per hour Shift: 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM Job Description: Are you an experienced Class 2 Shunter looking for a hands-on role with competitive pay?
We're hiring a dedicated and safety-conscious individual to join our team in Andover.
Key Responsibilities: Shunting Duties: Safely and efficiently manoeuvre trailers around the site, ensuring timely and precise positioning.
Load Securing: Use curtain pulling and other securing techniques to ensure loads are stable and compliant with safety standards.
Handballing and PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) Operation: Load and unload goods manually and operate PPTs to transport items as needed.
Safety Compliance: Maintain a strong awareness of health and safety practices, performing all tasks in line with site and company protocols.
