Job Title: Class 2 Driver (Trade Waste) Location: Ridham, Sittingbourne, Kent Salary: £17.79 per hour Job type: Full Time, Permanent Working Hours: 48hr Average Mon Sat Approximately 3am Start time Countrystyle is a dynamic, privately owned resource management and waste recycling business.

About the role: To drive Company dustcarts for the collection and emptying of customer waste bins and sacks.
Key Responsibilities: Complete all daily vehicle checks and fill out the Vehicle Defect sheet at the start and end of each shift Ensure all CCTV cameras are functional and inward-facing cameras are positioned correctly before starting work Report defects, including tyre issues, to the Fleet Office Complete all assigned tasks within the working day Submit all paperwork accurately and on time Maintain regular communication with the Fleet Office, reporting any issues or incidents immediately Refuel vehicles upon returning to the yard or depot Attend end-of-day debriefing with the Fleet Office for advice on the next day's work Secure all loads to prevent waste or debris from falling during transit Wear the required PPE when collecting or delivering to customers and Countrystyle sites Report all accidents and incidents immediately to the Fleet Office or Compliance Team and obtain necessary details Take responsibility for your own health and safety and that of others Cooperate with company management systems, report unsafe conditions, and comply with safe work practices and legal requirements About you: Essential Requirements: Good communication skills Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines Customer Service skills 2 years HGV driving experience HGV Class 2 licence Current CPC and digi-tacho Desirable Requirements: Previous experience driving dustcarts Work within the waste management industry Benefits: Electric Car Salary Sacrifice Scheme Employee Assistance Programme GymFlex salary sacrifice Life Insurance and access to GP 24 Company events Cycle to work scheme Investment in career development Please click on the APPLY button to send your CV for this role.
