Class 1 Tipper Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our market leading client based in the Barnsley area.
We are looking for experienced Class 2 Tipper Drivers / yard support to join the team.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00am until 14:00pm (unless required to work away).
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour PAYE.
Location: Barnsley, S75.
Job Type: Long term, ongoing.
The Role Carry out various roles in the yard as per operational needs.
Operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle safely and efficiently, transporting aggregate, topsoil etc.
Potential to be trained on sweeper vehicles.
Work away in absence of permanent staff to cover sickness / absence.
Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
Ensure timely and efficient completion of assigned routes when on the road.
Will be required to work away from home, with accommodation provided in a paid hotel.
Requirements Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Have a minimum of 1 years experience, preferably driving the relevant vehicle.
Have a full understanding of WTD legislation.
Be prepared to work away from home in paid accommodation as required.
Excellent communication skills.
