Claims Executive

Claims Executive Southampton Salary – Up to £45K, Hybrid working Our client is a well-established Broker who are looking for an experienced Claims Executive to join their team in Southampton.
The Role: You will manage a small caseload of complex and contentious claims, from investigation to settlement.
Apply extensive knowledge of insurance policies, coverage types, and claims procedures to assess and adjudicate claims within established timelines and guidelines.
Collaborate with internal departments, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient claims resolution.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, insurers, loss adjusters, legal representatives, and industry partners to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Prepare and present reports and presentations on claims history and data.
Visit clients on site during losses to investigate circumstances and build robust claims for swift, favourable resolutions.
Negotiate with insurers to secure the best settlement terms under policy conditions.
Advocate for the claims function and ensure optimal settlements.
The required skills: You will be an experienced Claims Handler or Claims Executive within a commercial lines broker.
You must have experience of being client facing, with a track record of building and maintaining relationships.
Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage types and claims procedures.
