The remainder of the contracted hours are to be utilised to provideclinical outputs and work should be directed towards improving and maintaining the dentalhealth and operational fitness of personnel for whom you are responsible.

Job description Job responsibilities Duties and responsibilities for the role include but arenot limited to:Inspecting all personnel for whom they are responsible at intervals in accordancewith The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines andproviding follow up treatment as required.Providing an occupational oral health assessment, being fully conversant withNorth Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) Dental Fitness categorisation and dentalinput into the Joint Medical Employment Standard for Service personnel.Ensuring that contemporaneous notes are recorded on individuals integratedelectronic healthcare records for all episodes of care.d.

Qualifications Essential Must have undertaken Foundation Dentist Certified completion of Dental Foundation Training in the UK or equivalent or have evidence of at least 24 months full-time postgraduate clinical experience derived in a primary dental care setting or have qualified before foundation training became compulsory in the NHS.
To ensure patient safety, applicants are required to have maintain evidence of clinical currency, specifically a minimum of 2 clinical sessions per week over the last 15 months.
