Civil Engineer

Civil EngineerCK Group are recruiting for a Civil Engineer to join a specialist Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, on a permanent basis.
This role will involve overseas travel to East Africa for a period of 6 to 10 weeks.
Location: This role is located at our client's site in Sheffield but please note, this role will involve overseas travel to East Africa for a period of 6 to 10 weeks.
Your main duties will be: Overseeing the construction of Civil Engineering Projects, Project management of all site based activities.Liaison between the site based client, contractors, and the project team.Management of petty cash, including budget forecasting and reporting of expenditure.Negotiation with site sub-contractors, where required.Auditing of engineering works at key stages.Implementing and conforming to the project specific Quality, Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures approved by the client.Your Background: The ideal candidate for this role will have: Degree in engineering discipline.Full driving license is essential.
