Civil Enforcement Officer - Torridge District Council

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join the Council's Parking Services Team.
The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for carrying out frontline inspection and enforcement duties covering off street parking operations, whilst maintaining a positive relationship with the local community.This would suit someone who enjoys being outdoors, acting on your own initiative, based across the Torridge district, ensuring no two days are the same, helping members of the public with a variety of enquiries.You will work on a rota basis for weekends and bank holidays as paid overtime, with occasional evening working during the busy summer periods.A full, clean driving licence and a DBS check will be required.
Previous experience in parking, traffic management or enforcement would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.
