Fire and Electrical Improver Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 Peterborough - within 30 mins of home address, any travel beyond that will be paid.
Testing fire alarm devices with solo/testifier kit or similar.
Assist in fault finding.
Understand the principles of a fire alarm system.
Be comfortable installing devices and panels (install cable, containment, equipment, devices and 2nd fix) under the supervision of commissioning engineer.
Be computer/technology literate to fill in paperwork.
Driving to sites potentially across the country.
Full clean drivers license.
Willing to occasionally work late to complete jobs and potentially stop away.
The ideal candidate will have: Minimum 2 years fire and electrical installations experience.Electrical qualifications.
Emergency lighting experience.
Electronics qualifications.
Experience in door entry, warden call, security, CCTV.
