We offer this part-time (27 hours per week), permanent post as a Band 6 Pain Service Specialist Nurse, with the emphasis on Inpatient Pain Management.
Applications are invited from suitably experienced, registered nurses.
Location – Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Woodend Hospital.
You will be expected to Develop your skills and knowledge by working alongside the multidisciplinary team to achieve specialist theoretical and practical knowledge of pain management.
Work independently at an advanced level of nursing practice, assessing, planning and implementing complex strategies for Pain Management.
Provide specialist education, training and advice to other health care professionals, patients and the general public.
Influence implementation of evidence based practice in Pain Management Maximise nursing opportunities within an evolving clinical service ensuring that the appropriate nursing contribution is included in the decision making process within a multidisciplinary service.
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates.
