As a Residential Support Worker, you will immerse yourself in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where every day is filled with new challenges and opportunities to make a significant difference in the lives of young people.
Core Responsibilities: Deliver tailored, compassionate care aligned with individual care plans and the homes objectives.
Build positive, respectful relationships, offering emotional and practical support.
Provide mentorship as a key worker, ensuring care plans are current and reflect evolving needs.
Support young people in educational and extracurricular activities.
Maintain accurate records and provide detailed reports for reviews and planning meetings.
Advocate for young peoples rights, fostering active involvement in their life decisions.
Teamwork and Conduct: Collaborate effectively with team members to uphold a supportive, respectful work environment.
Attend team meetings, contributing positively and sharing constructive feedback.
Uphold policies and procedures, ensuring safeguarding and child protection protocols are strictly followed.
Environment and Resource Management: Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment, ensuring Health and Safety standards are met.
Encourage community engagement, supporting young people in building social connections.
Participate in administration and reporting as required by management.
