Job summary Closing Date(this may change dependent on response) Shortlisting to take place after closing date: commencing Interview expected to take place in the week following shortlisting: commencing We are a well-established, friendly team looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated physiotherapist keen to specialise their career in the challenging but rewarding field of Paediatrics.
This is a developmental post so experience in Paediatrics is desirable but not essential but the candidate must display a passion for working with children and young adults.
The successful candidate will complete a comprehensive programme of competencies in neurology and MSK on the path to becoming a band 6 Children's Physiotherapist.
Full support and mentorship will be provided.
Main duties of the job The candidate will hold a mixed caseload of MSK and neurodevelopmetal and neurodisability conditions and will work through a series of competencies to progress to a B6 Children's Physiotherapist.
Candidates must have the ability to assess, treat and evaluate care.
Have excellent communiaction, interpersonal and organisational skills.

Job description Job responsibilities This a developmental post working towards becoming a B6 Children's Physiotherapist following completion of competencies over a time period.Please see the job description for detailed information Person Specification Experience Essential Must be HCPC registered 18 months to 2 years post-graduate experience, including recent experience in the NHS Desirable Previous rotations/ experience within Paediatrics Recent experience demonstrating ability to assess, treat and evaluate care.
Experience of developing others Evidence of MDT working Skills Essential Good communication and organisational skills Evidence of CPD Competent in core areas of Physiotherapy practice Competent IT skills Knowledge Desirable Attendance on external post-graduate courses Qualifications Essential Degree in Physiotherapy Studies Desirable Studied at Masters level or equivalent Member of Special Interest Group eg APCP Other requirements Essential Car owner/Driver
