Children's Home Registered Manager16+ Accommodation Experienced (Registered Manager for 16plus leaving care), passionate/skilled and child focussed to join our dynamic team and oversee the day to day running of our supported accommodation services.
As a Registered Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the lives of our young people, ensuring they receive the highest standards of care and support.
Responsibilities: Provi de overall leadership and direction for our supported accommodation services Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, local authority requirements, and other relevant legislation Oversee the development, implementation, and review of person-centred care plans Lead and manage a team of support workers, providing access to training, supervision, and performance management Collaborate with external agencies, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery Maintain accurate records, documentation, and management information system Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and quality assurance review Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and client outcomes Qualifications and Experience: Registration with Ofsted childrens residential home as a Registered Manager is advantageous.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or a willingness to work towards this Proven experience of at least three years in a team leader/senior/management role within childrens services/supported accommodation services In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, local authority requirements, and relevant legislation Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals with complex needs Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical abilities A commitment to continuous improvement and innovation Benefits: Competitive salary depending on experience Extensive training and development opportunities to enhance your professional skills £1k starting bonus (subject to evaluation) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £55K to 65K per year pending on Experience Additional pay: Signing bonus Benefits: Company events Company pension On-site parking Experience: 16Plus Supported Accommodation: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required) Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required) Work Location: In person JTRA1_UKTJ
