Qualifications Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent.
Level 4 Diploma in Management or working towards it.
Professional care qualifications (e.g., DipSW, CMS, CQSW, Registered Managers Award).
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children & Young People.
Skills & Experience Extensive experience in residential care for young people as aChildren's Home Registered Manager Proven leadership at a senior level, with hands-on staff and budget management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to motivate and guide teams in a collaborative, structured environment.
Recent experience working closely with OFSTED through registration and inspection.
Key Responsibilities As theChildren's Home Registered Manager, Lead and manage all staff, ensuring the highest standards of care.
Oversee staff scheduling and budgeting to meet childrens needs.
Foster a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and heard.
Implement effective behavior management strategies to support childrens development.
Coordinate care plans, ensuring timely reviews and adherence to standards.
Cultivate an open, diverse culture, promoting the health, well-being, and life chances of each child.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding regulations and maintain confidentiality.
