About Us:Randstad is collaborating with the Children and Families Team in Redcar and Cleveland to recruit a dedicated Social Worker.
This is a vital role that offers you the opportunity to work directly with children and families, supporting them through challenging circumstances and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Job Description:As a Social Worker in the Children and Families Team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of children and families, conducting assessments, and developing care plans that meet their unique needs. You will collaborate with multi-agency partners to deliver integrated support and ensure the best outcomes for children.
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of children and families, providing assessments to identify risks, needs, and strengths.Develop and implement tailored care plans to promote children's safety, development, and family stability.Work closely with children, parents, and multi-agency professionals to provide comprehensive support and protection.Attend and contribute to child protection conferences, family court hearings, and other statutory meetings.Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory guidelines and best practices.Regularly review care plans to adapt to the changing needs of the child and family.Qualifications:
Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.Experience working within children and families social services, particularly with safeguarding and assessment.Strong knowledge of child protection procedures, legislation, and relevant social care policies.Ability to build trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals.Benefits:
