Job description: Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship – The Meadows – Cheeky Chimps Childcare The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at The Meadows – Cheeky Chimps Childcare.The Meadows nurseryis based in Stratton, Swindon, at Kingsdown Sports Centre and has been established since 2014.
Over the years we have built a home from home environment to enable the children to feel comfortable and safe to explore and learn through play.
Your roles and responsibilities will include; Assist in creating a safe nurturing environment for childrenSupport the planning, implementation and evaluation of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring activities are developmentally appropriate and inclusiveFoster positive relationships with parents and guardians and sharing information about children's development and well-beingObserve and assess children's development, documenting observations and contributing to individual learning plansSupport children's personal care needs, including feeding, changing and promoting independenceContribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming nurseryCollaborate with nursery team to plan and deliver engaging learning activities both indoors and outdoorsAttending staff meetings Requirements; Level 2 Childcare Qualification is essential when applying for this role You must be able to gain a clear DBSGCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent are desired Hours; The Meadows – Cheeky Chimps Childcare are open from 07:30-18:00 Monday to Friday, all year roundThe successful candidate will be required to work between 30-40 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed ASPSW3
