Job description: Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 – Apple Blossom Day NurseryThe Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Apple Blossom Day Nursery as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice.Apple Blossom Day Nursery is a friendly and caring family run nursery, having excellent facilities both inside and outside.
Situated in the rural areas in Exeter, Whimple, the nursery cares for children from 0 – 5 years old.The setting has also been established for a successful 23 years, running 2 rooms and a range of safe and fun activities for children to enjoy outdoors.This is an exciting opportunity to complete a Level 3 Childcare apprenticeship within a friendly team at a fantastic setting.Your roles and responsibilities would include: Supporting children with personal careSupporting with feeding and snacksPreparing activities for the childrenParticipating in activities with the childrenHelping with messy playWorking with other team members to keep the setting clean and tidyMust be willing to get involvedAdhering to safeguarding proceduresKeeping the children safe at all timesFollowing health and safety proceduresObserving children Interacting with parents Requirements: Level 2 Childcare Qualification is desiredYou must be able to obtain a clear DBSGCSE – English and Maths C/4 or above/ Functional Skills Hours: This position is 52 weeks per year, working hours will be a minimum of 30 hours per week with flexible shifts to be discussed between the nursery's opening hours of 7.45am and 18.00pm ASPSW1
