We are currently recruiting for an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Early Years Practitioner to join our team.Sherborne House is a co-educational nursery and prep school, located in Chandler's Ford, for pupils between 6 months and 11.

These aspects of life at our school collectively present The Sherborne House Advantage.As part of your role as a Level 3 Childcare Assistant Apprenticeship, your duties will include aren't limited to; The Nursery Practitioner will be working as part of a team to ensure the daily needs of children between the ages of 6 months and five years are met within the Nursery settingEnsure all children and parents are met with a warm welcomeOffer a variety of activities suitable to the age range of children attending the Nursery Adjust activities according to the child's interests & needs.Support all staff and contribute to the teamLiaise with and support parents and other family members.Undertake certain domestic jobs within the Nursery, for example, serving snacks and meals, occasionally loading and emptying the dishwasher and laundry as part of a daily routine.
Hours; Sherborne House Nursery is open all year round Monday to Friday from 7:30am until 6pmThe successful candidate will be required to work between 25-40 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed.
Requirements; A full and relevant Level 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalentGCSE's A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e.
functional skillsMust be able to obtain clear DBS This role will suit someone who has experience of working within a nursery and wants to progress their career and develop new skills.
