Job description: Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship – Little Delwood KindergartenThe Aspire Training Team are looking for a punctual, reliable and flexible individual to complete a Level 2 Childcare apprenticeship with Little Delwood Kindergarten based in Eastleigh, Hampshire.At Little Delwood Kindergarten we encourage kindness and safe, responsible play, both towards other people and the environment.
Our aim is to provide a dynamic learning environment and have a wide range of open ended equipment to play, explore and investigate.
We like to maintain meaningful relationships between parents, our team and our children, to gain the best outcomes for each individual child in our care.Your duties and responsibilities as an apprentice will include: Assist in creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment for young children.Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities to encourage learning and development.Supervise children during play, meal, and rest times, ensuring their well-being at all times.Work alongside experienced staff to support children's social, emotional, and physical needs.Help maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic nursery space, following health and safety guidelines.Observe and record children's progress, reporting to supervisors as required.Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents, fostering positive relationships within the nursery community.
Hours: This nursery is open from 08:00-18:00 Monday to FridayYou be required to work 40 hours per week Requirements: You must be able to gain a clear DBSPreferably have GCSE grades A*-C in Maths and English Language (or equivalent i.e.
functional skills).
