Child Support Worker – Selby Join Teaching Personnel – Empower Young Lives!

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Child Support Worker to work with children and young people in Selby .
This is a rewarding opportunity to provide emotional and practical support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and supporting their development in a safe and nurturing environment.
What we offer: Competitive pay, starting from £85 - £95 per day Full-time, part-time, and flexible working options Access to ongoing training and professional development Supportive and friendly team to assist you in your role Opportunities for long-term placements and career progression Your responsibilities: Providing 1:1 and small group support to children with emotional, behavioural, or learning challenges Assisting students in overcoming social and emotional difficulties to enhance their educational engagement Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to support each child's development Helping to create and implement individual support plans for students Encouraging positive behaviour and building strong, trusting relationships with pupils Supporting students in developing their social and life skills Requirements: Experience working with children or young people in an educational, social care, or similar setting (preferred but not essential) A patient, understanding, and empathetic approach Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals Strong communication skills and a positive attitude A DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one Location: Selby Start date: Immediate start available All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
