As a Child Disability Support Worker , you will play a crucial role in supporting children with disabilities, ensuring their well-being and aiding their educational and social development.
Your primary responsibility will be to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment that enables each child to reach their full potential.
Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For: Provide one-on-one and group support to children with disabilities, adapting your approach to meet their individual needs.
Assist in the development and implementation of personalised care and learning plans.
Support the physical, emotional, and educational development of children, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to deliver comprehensive support.
Monitor and document child progress, providing feedback and making adjustments to support strategies as needed.
Promote positive behaviour and social interactions, fostering a sense of inclusion and community.
The Successful Candidate Will: Have previous experience working with children with disabilities .
Have relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or a related field.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be compassionate, patient and resilient nature.
Have the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Have strong organisational skills and the ability to manage challenging situations with sensitivity and professionalism.
