Chief Strategy Officer Competitive salary Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is the major health and wellbeing provider for a population of 1.8 million people across Lancashire and South Cumbria.
A provider of mental health, learning disability, autism and community based services we employ just under 8,000 colleagues, operating in 27 CQC registered sites with an annual budget of over c£500 million.
The Trust is on an exciting journey of improvement and transformation, through a new ambitious strategy, and the leadership of David Fillingham CBE as our Trust Chair, and Chris Oliver as our Chief Executive.

Stakeholder panel will take place on 16th December 2024 Interview will take place 17th December 2024 Main duties of the job An opportunity has arisen for a values based leader to be the Trust's next Chief Strategy Officer, a post only vacant due to the previous post holder gaining a Chief Executive position.
As member of the Board, you will make a significant impact on the delivery of the Trust's strategy, ensuring alignment with national and regional healthcare goals and our commitment to equity, innovation, and high-quality outcomes.
You will also oversee system-wide commissioning for specialised mental health services developing relationships with provider collaboratives to deliver high standards of care.
The post holder will also be responsible for the performance directorate, developing metrics that support improved clinical outcomes, across our networks and corporate functions, ensuring the Board remains well-informed of performance gaps, and mitigations strategies in place to drive and support change.

About us Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area.
Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
