Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition: Responsibility for the Talent Acquisition function, ensuring the company can find and on-board suitable new colleagues who will provide long service.Engagement: Work with management to provide a motivating and engaging environment where committed colleagues can do their best work.Development: Provide development opportunities for colleagues, ensuring continuous performance improvement and introducing initiatives that promote career development in-house.Lead Day-to-Day People/HR Team Activities: Source, secure, and on-board new colleagues through robust Talent Acquisition processes. Promote a positive corporate culture in line with the company's Cultural Values. Oversee processes that assess and provide feedback on colleague job performance.Provide day-to-day advice and best practice information to colleagues and management as required. Implement capability, disciplinary, and grievance measures to resolve employee relations issues effectively.Work with heads of department to devise training and career development plans. Oversee sourcing and booking of training as approved. Provide management coaching and training as required.Support and input to graduate training scheme content and delivery.Ensure smooth processing and risk mitigation with any terminations.Projects and Continuous Improvement: Devise and deliver People/HR projects to improve business efficiency and effectiveness. Own People/HR-related activities in relation to mergers, acquisitions, TUPE, and collective consultations.Establish and maintain reporting and monitoring techniques to identify HR team performance against business objectives and areas for improvement.Minimum RequirementsDegree educated is expected, with a FCIPD Level or above.
