Collectivfide is a growing, privately owned company with over 90 employees including a network of 11 broker partners founded upon the values of the Mutual insurance community.
We will be turning 5 this year and continue to have big dreams and lofty goals for the future so we are looking to bring on our very first COO to help get us there.

This is an opportunity to bring your previous successes as a COO, your insurance operations business acumen, and your strategic leadership to our dynamic, growing company.
This role will lead and execute our operational strategy to drive growth, efficiency, scalability, profitability, and shareholder value and serve as an advisor to the CEO.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring you to flex between providing strategic planning and decision making as well as hands-on tactical tasks, rolling up your sleeves to achieve our goals.
Although your focus is Operations, you will need to understand how all aspects of the business fit into the overall strategic vision and plan, collaborating with cross-functional leadership to get things done.
As our new COO you will … Provide strategic leadership and directional oversight of the operations of Collectivfide and our broker partners ensuring operational excellence, alignment with strategic goals, KPIs & industry benchmarks.
Define & translate the strategy into actionable steps to ensure growth, profitability, scalability & efficiency; building out the roadmaps for success and reporting on progress, milestones, successes and challenges.
Develop and lead organizational initiatives that seek out synergies and drive operational efficiencies, promote growth, and are scalable.
Work in collaboration with the operations to develop business plans, budgets & establish goals of our broker partners/managers that align with overall company goals and performance targets; ensure accountability and follow through.
Lead Collectivfide's omni-channel strategy.
Collaborate with the leadership team to define the optimal structure to support future growth and leverage synergies.
Ensure optimal resource utilization and budget management at the broker and Collectivfide level.
Define risk mitigation initiatives to protect loss ratios and retention.
Serve as the 2nd point of escalation & timely resolution of carrier and brokerage issues.
Leadership & Board reporting of operational health metrics / KPIs; attend Board meetings as required.
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, partnership meetings, etc.
Requirements Degree in Risk Management, Financial Services, Business Administration.
You must have previous experience working as a COO or similar senior-level operational executive role in the P&C insurance industry.
You must have worked in a brokerage either as a broker or an operational leader in a brokerage.
You can have hard conversations, influence, make tough decisions, and manage conflict.
Being a young, growth company, you can wear many hats and are comfortable with being uncomfortable as we grow and evolve.
You can easily flex between tactical and strategic.
Strong business and insurance acumen.
Proven track record leading teams, driving performance, follow-through and accountability.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
Some travel required to visit broker partners or attend industry events, conferences, etc.
