Hays are partnered with an established, growth orientated owner managed business with an excellent reputation in their industry to appoint a full-time Chief Financial Officer to partner the CEO, lead the finance function, and drive business strategy.
The role will be fully office based on the outskirts of Swindon and there may be some requirement to work outside of office hours.
Your new role As CFO of this c.£30m turnover Group, you will effectively lead and develop the finance team, take a lead role in all financial planning, analysis and reporting, and partner with the wider Executive team to support strategic business planning and growth.
Specific responsibilities: Integrating the financial management and reporting of all acquisitions.
Review the existing finance systems and processes to identify and implement improvements.
Work with management team across the business to produce robust annual budgets and forecasts.
Ensure the production of high-quality management accounts and financial information for the Group.
Completing year-end company and consolidated financial statements.
Overseeing audit and lead external auditor engagement.
Contribute to strategic business planning and acquisition activities.
Review and development of existing finance systems, controls and processes within the Group.
Providing commercial support for negotiations and discussions with clients, venues and partners.
What you'll need to succeed: Significant experience in finance leadership positions, ideally within an SME reporting to a MD / CEO.
Experience supporting post-acquisition integration of business systems, processes and reporting.
Successful finance team leadership.
Experience preparing statutory accounts for a Group.
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
What you'll get in return: Competitive base salary circa.
£95,000.
Discretionary annual bonus.
Please note that this role is fully office based, and some flexibility may be required to work outside of office hours.
You must be able to commute to Swindon (Junction 16 or 15 of the M4) daily.
