Chief Financial Officer

Role: CFO
Location: Widnes
Salary: Between £120,000 and £150,000 + benefits inclusive of exit bonus

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a fast-growing and highly profitable online retail organisation in their search for a CFO to work out of their office based near Widnes.

The successful candidate will need to be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and will have ideally worked for a private equity backed business. Strong technical accounting skills are absolutely essential and any experience of taking a business through a sale process would be a distinct advantage. The ability to influence the board and bring key financial insight into key strategic decisions will be absolutely crucial. Excellent staff management skills are a must as is the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Key duties for the CFO role will involve: Lead on budgeting and forecasting processEnsure month end and year end reporting is done timely and accuratelyBuild relationships with banks, auditors etc.Cash-flow managementAssist with the strategy of the business moving forward.Provide financial assistance and due diligence with any potential acquisitionsAssist with the sale process of the organisationManagement of a small finance team This is a fantastic opportunity for an established CFO that is keen to be a key member of a board and has been through a successful exit process previously.
