About the Role As Chief Finance Officer, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership across the trust.
This includes overseeing all aspects of finance, ensuring compliance with regulations, and working closely with the senior leadership team to contribute to the long-term success of the trust.
Duties will include : Leading and managing the trust's finance operations, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance Ensuring timely financial reporting to the Board of Trustees Managing external audits and preparing statutory accounts Overseeing financial planning and forecasting for the trust Collaborating with school leaders to ensure financial stability across all sites Implementing and maintaining financial controls and processes About the Successful Applicant You will be a qualified finance professional with at least five years' experience in a senior financial role within the education sector.
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills are essential, alongside the ability to manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Experience with multi-site financial management and a solid understanding of public sector finances would be highly beneficial.
