T2M have been retained to recruit a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a market leading services group.
This c£200m group has ambitious plans for further growth and needs a highly experienced and commercially focused CFO to ensure that the business is supported by a high performing finance function that provides robust business partnering, high quality financial reporting, working capital management and financial governance.Working alongside the CEO you will own all things finance and be a highly influential business leader who shapes strategy, improves efficiency and guides the business leadership team to make the right commercial decisions based on high quality business insight and financial control.You will lead and develop a large finance team, driving a positve can do culture and inspiring a continuous improvement approach.
Your remit will include the following:Create and drive a high performance culture across finance that provides accurate, insightful, compliant and timely data for internal and external purposesEnsure that the business achieves it's objectives with appropriate risk management, working capital, financial control, governance and business planningDrive the company strategy through supportive Business Partnering from a finance perspective – actively engaging with leaders across the group companies and adding value as a trusted and approachable business leaderProvide operational business Targets, SLA's and KPI's that align to achieving objectives and provide consistency for business performance evaluation and improvementEnsure that financial systems and procedures are efficient, fit for purpose and scalable, investing in automation and training as appropriatePro-actively support M&A activityIdentify business improvement initiatives and driving transformation projectsThis role will be based in the West Midlands but require UK wide travel as required to fulfil the potential of the opportunity and ensure visible finance leadership and engagement across operations.
