Location of the job MediaCity, Manchester, United Kingdom (On-site role, hybrid not available) About the job Oxygen Activeplay is searching for a bubbly and bouncy child aged 6-12 years, who loves to have fun and play games, to join its team as CEO (Chief Excitement Officer) to support the launch of its newest site, Oxygen at MediaCity, Manchester.
As the newest pioneer of play the CEO will be a key member of the Oxygen at MediaCity team, working one-on-one with Stephen Wilson, the existing CEO (Chief Executive Officer) to oversee the excitement levels and maximise BIG-TIME Fun throughout the brand-new park.
The ideal candidate will be ready to dive into auditing each of the park's activities and get involved in every element of play that Oxygen at MediaCity has to offer.
The first official duty of the Chief Excitement Officer will be to help review Oxygen at MediaCity before the venue opens to the public, to ensure the park is ready to host thousands of jumpers for BIG-TIME Fun!
Following the park evaluation, the new CEO will take to the streets with the Oxygen team to quiz the people of Manchester to find out how much they really know about BIG-TIME fun, before being invited to cut the ribbon at Oxygen at MediaCity's VIP launch party to officially open the park.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities ? Auditing the bounce-ability of over 30 epic trampolines ? Assessing the aerial Sky Rider's extreme sky-high feeling ? Evaluating the energy of Oxygen's signature Excite Tunnel ? Inspecting the cushioning of the mega-airbag ? Testing out the 'fun factor' of the interactive Strike Arena ? Calculating the amount of balance needed to cross the high ropes course ? Delivering an excitement briefing to Oxygen's Hero Crew to prepare for the opening ? Ensuring that teamwork makes the dream work, with the rest of the MediaCity pioneers of play ? Testing the tastiness of the cafe's menu (including slushies!)
Required skills and experience ? Proven history of playing lots of different games ? Not being afraid to try new things ? Knowing how to have lots of fun ? Lifelong experience of smiling and giggling ? Mega enthusiasm ? Aged 6-12 years old Compensation The successful candidate will be compensated with an annual bounce pass worth over £600, allowing them and their family to visit the park every month for an entire year, along with the opportunity to host their next birthday party at the park, making the most of Oxygen's professional team of dedicated party hosts whilst show their friends how to party the Oxygen way!
Availability The role is on-site only and does not offer hybrid working.
You will need to be available during February half term to complete your important duties.
