To deliver chemicals via drop off on pallets to customer or pumping into customer storage tanks via IBC totes Key Requirements - Safely delivering hazardous goods to various locations throughout the UK Adhere to Company procedures and regulations Manage your own time while adhering to tachograph rules and regulations Carry out daily vehicle checks Checking load to manifest Loading vehicle ensuring load is secure Delivering chemicals to multiple sites in the most efficient manner Ensure H&S and SOP procedures are followed Communicate effectively and liaise with the Production planner highlighting any customer delays Sign off COSHH assessments Communicate effectively Drive a Fork Lift counter-balance truck Carry out IBC Inspections To fully understand and be able to implement spillage procedure This list is not exclusive or exhaustive.
Requirements The successful candidate will hold a valid ADR license.
They will have a clear understanding of the importance of working safely with hazardous chemicals and need to be physically fit.
Driver must demonstrate a high level of driving competence as well as being flexible.
Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Have a good eye for detail and be methodical in their approach with good organisational skills.
Ensure that vehicle checks and driving card/tacho are kept up to date.
