We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie with a background in fine dining, particularly in establishments with 2 Rosettes or higher, to join this prestigious culinary team.
The successful candidate will have a passion for working with fresh, seasonal produce and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of culinary excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Food Preparation and Execution: Execute all aspects of food preparation and cooking with precision and attention to detail, adhering to the standards set by the Head Chef and maintaining the quality and integrity of each dish.
-Station Management: Take ownership of a designated section in the kitchen, ensuring that all items are prepared, cooked, and plated to the highest standards of presentation and taste.
-Quality Control: Uphold the highest standards of quality and consistency in all culinary creations, conducting regular taste tests and inspections to ensure that every dish meets or exceeds the expectations of our discerning guests.
-Team Leadership: Lead by example and provide guidance and support to junior members of the kitchen brigade, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
-Adherence to Health and Safety Standards: Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
-Customer Satisfaction: Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure that guest expectations are consistently met or exceeded, responding promptly to feedback and making adjustments as necessary to enhance the overall dining experience.
REQUIRED
-Culinary Skills: Experience in fine dining kitchens, with a strong foundation in classical and modern culinary techniques, as well as a deep understanding of flavour profiles and ingredient pairings.
2 Rosette Experience: Proven track record of working in establishments with 2 Rosettes or higher, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and an ability to thrive in a high-pressure, high-stakes culinary environment.
