Chef Manager Start date: 06 January 2025 Location: Ark Alexandra Academy, Hastings, East Sussex Salary: Ark Outside London Support Scale 9, Pay Points 25 - 32: £35,234 to £41,510 (pro rata) Actual Salary: £31,861.36 - £37,536.61.
Pay is spread evenly over 12 months.
Hours: 36 hours per week with no late nights, 41 weeks per year based around term time – what could you do with all that time off?

About The Role As Chef Manager, the successful applicant will have responsibility for ensuring the Academy's quality of dining is outstanding, including dining operations, budgeting and finance, health and safety, and managing and developing a high functioning catering team across our two campuses with the support of a Catering Supervisor on each campus.
Our standards are high and meals are prepared daily from fresh ingredients.
We need someone who can work quickly and safely, be part of a team and has the confidence to interact with staff and students.
