Job Description: Chef de Partie Location Devon, England Salary Annual Salary: £25,000 Job Responsibilities Assist in the daily operation of the kitchen ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and specials.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure that all food is prepared to company standards and served in a timely manner.
Identify and resolve issues related to kitchen operations or food quality, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Essential Qualifications Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or relevant role in a professional kitchen.
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Culinary Arts or related field.
Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Experience Experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurants is preferred.
Knowledge of international cuisine is a plus.
Prior experience managing a section of the kitchen is advantageous.
