Job Description: Chef de Partie Location: Walsall Rd, Summerhill, Muckley Corner, Lichfield WS14 0BU, ENG, United Kingdom Job Type: Full-Time Number of Openings: 1 Job Responsibilities: Preparation and cooking of food items in accordance with the menu and presentation standards of The Boat Inn.
Ensuring that food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Effectively managing kitchen operations, including stock management, preparation of ingredients, and ensuring timely service.
Training and supervising junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures.
Assisting the Head Chef in menu development and maintaining the highest quality of food production.
Collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver a seamless dining experience for guests.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of your work area and kitchen equipment.
Contributing to the overall team spirit and morale in the kitchen.
Essential Qualifications: Strong cooking skills and knowledge of different cooking techniques.
In-depth understanding of food safety practices and hygiene regulations in a kitchen environment.
Experience in restaurant operations and the ability to work under pressure during busy service times.
Ability to work as part of a team and effectively communicate with colleagues.
Desired Experience: Minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a professional kitchen setting.
