We are seeking an experienced Chef de partie to lead the kitchen at our new soon to be launched 45-cover wine bar & restaurant.
Located in a new commercial district close to The London Stadium in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
The restaurant will offer a menu of predominantly creative small plates with extensive wine by the glass and a short cocktail list.
Eating at the counter bar and tables.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for contemporary European cuisine, a strong background in high-quality, seasonal cooking, and the ability to work well within a kitchen team.
The CdP will be responsible for delivering consistent and exceptional food quality.

Key Responsibilities: Food Preparation & Quality Control:Ensure the consistent preparation of high-quality dishes in line with restaurant standards and guest expectations.
Team working: be able to integrate and contribute to a a positive and efficient work environment.
Cost Management: work within agreed kitchen budgets, control waste, and monitor portion sizes to maintain profitability.
Ensure compliance with financial targets for food cost percentages.
Health & Safety:Ensure all health, hygiene, and food safety regulations are strictly adhered to, maintaining high cleanliness standards in the kitchen.
Collaboration:Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service, coordinating timings and responding to customer feedback.
Innovation & Trend Awareness:Stay informed of industry trends and contribute new ideas, techniques, and ingredients to enhance the dining experience.
Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-quality, modern European restaurant.
good basic knowledge of contemporary European cuisine, cooking techniques, and seasonal ingredients.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to culinary excellence.
Proficient in menu execution, cost control and inventory management.
Competency with food safety, hygiene regulations, and health & safety standards.
Creative, innovative, and passionate about delivering an outstanding dining experience.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen during service.
Must have: Current Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering Previous experience in a 40+ cover restaurant.
Strong time management skills.
Salary:Competitive, based on experience.
45hour average work week over 5 shifts.
£26k + anticipated substantial service charge (tronc) forecast to be £10k to £12k additional per annum.
