Job Responsibilities: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's standards and recipes.
Assist the head chef in menu planning and the development of new dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of your assigned workstation.
Supervise junior kitchen staff, including training and delegating tasks as necessary.
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times.
Manage food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in the preparation of food presentations for special events and catering.
Assist in maintaining health and safety standards in the kitchen.
Essential Qualifications: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Passion for food and creativity in culinary presentations.
Desired Experience: Previous experience in a fine dining restaurant setting is preferred.
Experience in managing kitchen staff is a plus.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
