Duties Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked and organised.
Prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones.
Assist in managing kitchen schedules and staff rotations to ensure efficient operation.
Experience Proven experience as a Chef de partie or in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Proficiency in food preparation methods and kitchen equipment operation.
A passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences while maintaining high standards of quality.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
