You will be instrumental in working with estates colleagues and operational teams to expand and enhance outdoor leisure opportunities and experiences across the nations forests About the Role As a key player in a growing recreational and visitor experience business, this role requires a strong background in rural surveying and land management.
You will manage a portfolio of tenant relationships and commercial agreements, ensuring that all leisure and recreation projects deliver successful commercial outcomes.
This role involves a balance of leadership, partnership management, and commercial strategy development, requiring a Chartered Surveyor with an ability to handle both the technical aspects of land management and the commercial side of partnership development.
Key Responsibilities Act as the primary landlord liaison for key commercial tenants involved in outdoor leisure, ensuring smooth and productive relationships.
Work closely with District Land Agents to manage and identify new commercial opportunities in the leisure and recreation sectors.
Oversee the pipeline for new outdoor leisure and recreational projects, from concept through to commercial delivery.
Experience & Professional Expertise Essential Full membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) with significant experience in rural surveying, commercial land management, and managing landlord-tenant relationships.
Proven experience in project or programme management, with a track record of delivering commercial outcomes in the leisure or rural sectors.
Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable Project/Programme Management or Land Management qualifications.
RICS Registered Valuer accreditation.
