Are you an experienced Chaperone with a current licence to work with children aged 8-18?
Do you have experience of theatre productions?
Do you take a flexible approach to your work?
We are looking for a Chaperone to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children and young performers in your care, making sure they are properly supervised, have adequate meal breaks and sufficient rest and recreation.
Reporting directly to the Lead Chaperone, your main duties will include: Being responsible for escorting and supervising the children during rehearsal and performance, looking after the general wellbeing and safety of the children Ensuring daily records are completed in accordance with legislation Ensuring that the children / young performers are understanding and considerate of the working theatre environment, and that their behaviour and conduct is appropriate Assisting the Wardrobe department with costume changes, wigs and make-up Supervising the children and young performers in their dressing room To be suitable for this position, you should have: A current Chaperone Licence Experience of working with children ages 8-18, ideally in a theatre environment.

The role is offered as a variable hour contract and you will be based in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Your working hours will vary between 4 and 48 per week dependent upon the child actors' schedules; you will be required to attend rehearsals in London, a flexible approach to work is therefore essential.
We are also able to offer this role on a casual contract.
